What is Gynecological Sampling? What does a cervical swab mean?
Disposable female swabs, also called cervical swabs, are made by spraying villi on the ABS rod.
Main function: mostly used for gynecological cervical and vaginal sample collection
Cervical Swab Brush
Cervical Swab Brush sampling steps:
1. Make sure that the disposable cervical sampling brush is completely packaged without damage before operation. Check whether the cell preservation tube is damaged or leaking.
2. Take out the disposable cervical sampling brush and adjust it so that the disc of the sampling brush is between the bayonet A and B, and the brush head of the sampling brush is not exposed in the sleeve;
3. The operator grasps the non-slip pattern of the cannula and inserts the swab (at this time, the disc of the sampling brush rod is between the bayonet A and B) from the vagina to the outer mouth of the cervix (at this time There should be slight resistance, but no pain);
4. Hold the sleeve with one hand, and push the sampling brush gently, so that the disk of the sampling brush rod passes through the bayonet A inside the sleeve, indicating that the sampling brush head has exposed the sleeve, and then continue to gently push in 1 cm, so that the brush head completely exposed the cannula and touched the outer mouth of the cervix; against the handle of the brush, slowly rotate the sampling brush in the same direction 4-5 turns to collect enough cervical cells (note that the force should be moderate, too light Not getting enough cells, too heavy may damage the cervix and cause bleeding);
5. After collecting the cells, hold the cannula with one hand, hold the brush handle with the other hand and pull it out slightly in the direction shown in the figure to return the disc of the sampling brush rod to the bayonet A and card inside the cannula. Between mouth B. Withdraw the cannula and sampling brush slowly out of the vagina (push the brush head out of the cannula)
6. Fix the sleeve with one hand, and push the brush handle with the other hand in the direction shown, so that the disc of the sampling brush rod passes through the bayonet A, exposing the brush head outside the sleeve until the groove at the end of the brush head is exposed (note the brush head Do not touch other objects);
(Product performance is to collect virus specimens)
7. Open the cell preservation tube (containing 2ml of volatile cell preservation solution) provided with the sampler, immerse the brush head into the liquid surface, fix the bottle body, and stir it for more than 10 times so that the collected specimen is completely released in the cell preservation solution. Medium (if accidentally dipping the liquid, rinse with water); (broken the brush head)
8. Fix the cell preservation tube with one hand. As shown in the figure, break the self-sampling brush from the groove on the end of the brush head, keep the brush head in the cell preservation solution, tighten the tube cover of the cell preservation tube, and discard the brush handle and sleeve .
